MAJICK-12 //SPG //NCG

MAJICK-12 & it's Special Projects Group undertake exploratory aerospace research focused on advanced propulsion, high-performance transportation concepts, and unconventional system architectures.

Activities are centred on early-stage research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E), employing a multidisciplinary approach to investigate technically challenging problems at the limits of current engineering practice.

MAJICK-12 focuses on concept studies, theoretical modelling, and experimental design relating to non-traditional propulsion and transport mechanisms that remain poorly characterised, highly constrained, or not yet viable for practical implementation.

Areas of investigation may include, but are not limited to, electrically mediated flow control, electrohydrodynamic effects, plasma–aerodynamic interactions, and other advanced physical phenomena relevant to future aerospace systems.

LEGAL NOTE: All Special Projects activities are non-classified, non-operational, and conducted as analytical or experimental research within applicable Australian regulatory, safety, and export control frameworks.

OUR SERVICES

• Advanced Aerospace Concept Development (AACD)

MAJICK-12 provides early-stage aerospace concept development focused on high-performance flight and propulsion systems. Services include system-level trade studies, architecture definition, and feasibility assessment conducted using first-principles engineering methods.

• Propulsion & High-Speed Systems Analysis

The organisation undertakes analytical and computational studies of advanced propulsion and high-speed flow regimes, including cycle analysis, aerodynamic interaction modelling, and thermal environment assessment. Work is limited to non-operational research and design studies.

• Modelling, Simulation & Design Validation

MAJICK-12 supports the development and validation of aerospace concepts through physics-based modelling, numerical simulation, and structured design verification activities intended to reduce technical risk at early stages of development.

• Exploratory Research & RDT&E Support

Special Projects Group (SPG) conducts exploratory research and development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) activities focused on unconventional system architectures and poorly characterised physical phenomena relevant to future aerospace systems.

• Independent Technical Studies & Design Review.

MAJICK-12 provides independent technical assessments, concept reviews, and analytical support to assist industry and research partners in evaluating high-risk or novel aerospace ideas prior to downstream development.

• Regulatory & Export-Control-Aware Design Support

All services are delivered with consideration of applicable Australian regulatory, safety, and export control frameworks, supporting responsible early-stage development of dual-use aerospace technologies.
